Accommodations

We called several hotels in San Francisco to secure room blocks for our guests and were not very successful. The week before the wedding there is a major conference (Oracle OpenWorld) so all the hotel rates are skyrocketing. Pretty much every hotel we talked to urged us to book that week ASAP as availability will be limited.

Because of this, we highly encourage you to book your hotel as soon as possible.

The Fairmont

The Fairmont Hotel was kind enough to provide discounted rooms for our guests (at rates starting at $289). In order to make reservations, please call their Global Reservation Centre at 1-800-441-1414 and reference "Cinderella Chavez and Cristian Radu Wedding". Any changes, requests or updates will be handled through that number as well. For online reservations, you can go to https://resweb.passkey.com/go/chavezradu.

These rooms will be available until August 12, 2013, so if you're interested in staying at the Fairmont make sure you book by that date.

The Lombard Motor Inn

Another hotel we managed to get a room block is the Lombard Motor Inn. They offered us 10 rooms (5 king bed, 5 double beds) at a rate of $155 + tax & tourism fee (by our calculations that comes down to $192). To make a reservation call (415) 441-6000 and mention the reference number E1195 (Chavez/Radu wedding). Alternatively you can use their website, but it doesn't look like it allows reference numbers.

These rooms will be available until July 20, 2013, so make sure you book by that date. The good news is that if all 10 rooms get filled up they can offer us more. So if you're trying to book there and they're out of rooms, try to see if you can get the same rate - if not, contact us and we'll try to get more.
